Built in Campbell River, B.C. by Daigle Welding & Marine, this vessel was specifically designed for our marine safaris. This 2009 twin engine (D-6 330 hp) tour boat has a viewing bridge (that seats 10 passengers) and seating for 20 more in the cabin. Daigle Welding & Marine LTD. came up with this new design after having built three smaller tour boats in the last two years for us. It combines safety, comfort and efficiency especially when we are traveling as far North as no other Campbell River based tour operator in search of the orcas. Can you imagine what an exhilarating experience it is sitting on the elevated command bridge while cruising past breathtaking scenery and wildlife?! “Eagle XXXIII” This 2009 Volvo D-6 370 hp, 32’ Eaglecraft vessel seats 12 passengers. On this vessel you will be sure to get a guaranteed exhilarating ride through the scenic Discovery Islands. Featuring a 360 degree viewing platform, you get the best opportunities to get great pictures. Both vessels are Transport Canada inspected and approved, meeting their requirements and more! You’ll take photographs of orcas, marine life, and wildlife with ease while walking around our boat, from the rear deck or on the viewing bridge. Both vessels are equipped with a hydrophone (underwater microphone) to enhance the whale watching experience while listing to the unique sounds of the orcas. The enclosed cabin (which is heated!) keeps you out of wind and the weather and ensures a comfortable experience. And yes, we certainly have a washroom on board! It’s all about comfort, safety AND unobstructed viewing opportunities!!!
