Roses plus to Discovery Marine Safaris for giving Campbell River residents the chance to enjoy their whale watching tours. Their promotion for residents to pay one ticket and get one FREE is a great idea. My husband and I had a wonderful seven hour long trip along with several other people from around the globe, lunch included. The skipper was able to answer all the questions thrown at him... and we got to see several whales. One more thing off the bucket list.

From the Captains of their boats and their assistants with their informative commentary, to the friendly office staff, their dedication to customer service is second to none. My husband, myself and two of our grandkids have first hand knowledge of this local company as we have been out twice this summer on their whale watching tours.Not only did we see many beautiful whales, (about 23) including a mother and her calf, we also saw other wildlife all in their natural habitat.

Inspired be the commitment and passion of our tour guide, Amanda, we have now become a part of the B.C. Wild Killer Whale Adoption Program and have adopted two whales.

On July 11, 2011 my son, his wife and myself enjoyed one of your whale watching tours. The trip took us as far north as Stuart Island. We saw eagles, seals, porpoises, dolphins, a humpback whale, black bears and deer. The weather was beautiful and the scenery spectacular!

The boat picked us up on time at Quatiaski Cove. The friendly crew, Warren and Marnie, helped to make the excursion especially enjoyable. They provided many interesting comments regarding the places we visited.

Thanks again for a wonderful trip.

A dream became true. I was waiting for 30 years to see orcas in their natural environment. It was amazing! The 100's of dolphins were incredible too. (Sept. 21, 2010)

Yesterday (Sept. 8, 2010) we went on the Grizzly tour with Mark and Joel. First let me say that it was not only a wonderful trip but those two individuals provide a wealth of knowledge. It was a great honor and pleasure to have been in their company. We are going to recommend this to others. I posted some of my photos from yesterday and have been asked how and where so we highly recommended your tour.

Again, this was an awesome tour.

We were part of a trip on May 14 that was outstanding! After seeing two kinds of sea lions, harbor seals, porpoises, and bald eagles...the highlight of the afternoon was a humpback whale that we quietly followed at a respectful distance for a good twenty minutes.

At one point, after being submerged for a while, our Captain Tom spoke to the whale in his native language, asking it to come up off our bow, and almost on cue it responded. Quite a magical moment!

We had a great afternoon. Our boat was very comfortable. All of the staff very friendly and knowledgeable, and we had a delicious picnic lunch with great coffee!

Your service has our highest recommendation! Thank you for a great experience!
